The Game
They underestimated the threat
Jimbo, Willy and Carl heard a wild animal was loose on their land. They grabbed their shotguns and their old hound dogs and went a-huntin'. Now it's up to three hounds well past their prime to fix the getaway and make it out before the night's over. Ol' Red is a 3 v 1 survival-horror comedy: play as one of the hounds, or as the thing hunting them.

Best nose in three parishes, worst hips in four. Old Nose picks out every interesting smell nearby, and the predator.
Biscuit

Can't jump. Naps a lot. Play Dead makes the predator's senses slide right past him.

Mostly blind. Bayou Bellow stuns anything close and shows every dog where it is.

Take your pick
A cougar, a gator, a raptor loose from a roadside dino attraction, Mothman, and a deer that is not a deer.
Hunt, then survive the night
At dusk the hunters patrol with their shotguns. After dark the predator gets faster and meaner, and the hounds have to finish the job alone.
Five ways out
A Louisiana bayou, a Kentucky holler, a Florida mangrove swamp, a tropical island and an Alaskan blizzard, each with its own busted getaway.
Bring friends, or don't
Play alone or with up to four players on your local network. Bots take every empty seat.
Steam Early Access
Get in while it's still being made
Ol' Red is still in development, and it's coming to Steam as an Early Access game, planned for Q1 2027. That means you can play it while it's being built, and help decide where the hounds go next.
